Rest in Peace. Tibor sat next to me in the Monroe orchestra. A real nice guy (from Hungary) and talented violinist.

A wonderful guy who escaped Hungary in 1958 and was so positive and upbeat at Monroe. I think he was in all-city orchestra.

Gone so soon.

Tibor and his family escaped from Hungry during the revolution of 1956. When he arrived in America he could not speak a word of English. In a few short years he was at the top of his class. He was loved by all who knew him, including Jack Eisner, Ross Moskowitz, Dave Myron, and Sy Green. Jack and I visited him at Brown Univ. where he majored in nuclear physics and oceanograpy. He was a true genius but more impotantly a terrific guy who loved life and America. Shortly after our visit he had a massive myocardial infarction and passed away. Everyone whoever knew him was deeply devastated. Glen Joshpe, MD

I remember Tibor from The orchestra and always had a special affection and respect for him.

Upon Tibor's arrival in 'The Bronx' at Herman Ridder Junior High School, I was assigned, with pleasure, to be his mentor and teach him what I could. He was a fabulous musician, extremely intelligent and always with a smile. Rest in Peace my friend.
