Comments:

We have lived in beautiful Naples Florida for 17 years.
My husband and I own The Name Game. A lovely gift shop on Fifth Avenue South which is our downtown main street.
I am an artist and my work can be viewed on thenamegamegk.com web site.
Looking forward to our 50th reunion.

School Story:

I enjoyed our class trip to Bear Mountain and our trip to the Shakespeare Festival in Stratford, Conn. to see Twelfth Night with Katherine Hepburn. I was able to get her autograph on the playbill.
I remember how funny Mr. Taub and Mr. Witchel were.
Every year each grade would put on a show. They were so much fun ( I think we called them class sings).
One year the drama club put on Sorry, Wrong Number. I had a big part. I sat at a desk on stage wearing ear phones and waited for my one big line "sorry, wrong number".
We aslo put on musicals. In one my friends Carol and Barbara danced ballet to the Ugly Ducking and I danced to Jamica Farewill and tap danced to "No two people have ever been so in love"
Guitar class was fun too and I still enjoy playing.
I remember how much we hated the gyn suits we had to wear. They were green and the bottom part were so big you had to roll them under to make it look better.
I also enjoyed the art club. I have always love to paint and have had a measure of success in selling my art work as well as my prints. I have participated in 3 art shows one of which was with Tony Curtis when artist from the Bronx were featured.
Our prom was lots of fun. A group of us ended up at the Copacabana, which was a nightclub in Manhattan that had a floor show with scanty clad dancing girls.

All dressed up for our senior prom. My prom date was Charles Tommey. I'm sure the spelling is wrong.I remember the prom was held at a hotel in Manhattan and post prom a group of us went to the Copacabana. A nightclub in Manhattan which opened in 1949. It was known for it fabulous shows and show girls. With headline entertainment, the Copa was the first supper club to present a line of dancing beauties. Also, there were two society bands, and two Latin bands, which played the hottest Rhumna, Merenge and cha-cha rhythms.

Mr. Miller's 6th grade class at P.S. 77.
Most of the class eventually attended and graduated from James Monroe High School.
